Ingredients

Thick-cut bread (sliced halfway to create a pocket)
1 cup
Burnbrae Farms liquid whole eggs
½ cup
Burnbrae Farms eggnog
Cinnamon sugar
2
Burnbrae Farms eggs (for scrambled eggs)
1 Tbsp.
powdered sugar
Bacon
Butter
2 slices
cheddar cheese
Powdered sugar (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Start by cooking the bacon in a pan over medium heat until it’s crispy. Once done, set it aside on a paper towel to drain. In another pan, melt butter over medium heat and scramble the eggs, stirring occasionally until fully cooked. Set the scrambled eggs aside.
  2. Slice the thick-cut bread halfway through, creating a pocket. In a shallow dish, whisk together Burnbrae Farms liquid whole eggs and ¼ cup eggnog. Dip each slice of bread into the eggnog mixture, making sure both sides are well-coated. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar generously over the bread.
  3. In a large skillet or griddle, melt butter over medium heat and cook the coated bread slices until golden brown and crisp on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Set the french toast aside.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ¼ cup of Burnbrae Farms eggnog with 1 tbsp of powdered sugar. Whisk until smooth, then transfer the glaze to a ziplock bag or small piping bag for easy drizzling.
  5. To assemble the sandwich, fill with a slice of cheddar cheese, followed by scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. Drizzle the eggnog glaze over the top and finish with a dusting of powdered sugar.
